A staple of the Sport Management Alliance is our volunteer work both at Bowling Green State University and around the country. We provide our members with a diverse selection of volunteer opportunities.

BGSU Athletics

SMA and BGSU Athletics share a close partnership. BGSU Athletics provides innumerable volunteer opportunities for our members in dozens of departments. Many of our members find valuable internship experience through the athletic department. In 2017, SMA has members working with Ticketing, Football Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Falcon Sports Properties, Game-day Operations, and Stadium Operations.

Mid-American Conference Championships

Not all volunteer opportunities are domestic for SMA. We partner yearly with the MAC and work various aspects of Conference Championship games. SMA has had students working in the press box working spotting for radio and TV announcers, as well as some on-field/on-court operations.
